Sting acquire Tyler J. Brown from the Kingston

Sarnia, On –  General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced this afternoon the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club has acquired overage forward Tyler J. Brown from the Kingston Frontenacs.

In return for Brown the Sting have dealt Jack Nevins and a 3rd round pick in 2016 to the Frontenacs.

Beaulieu explains his thoughts on the transaction.

“Tyler is a skilled forward with an element of grit to his game as well.  At the time of the deal he’s Kingston’s leading scorer and after already acquiring Spooner there is an existing chemistry there between the two players.  I have coached Tyler previously in London and really like what he can add to our team.”

Brown will be in the Sting lineup Friday night when the team takes on the Erie Otters in Erie.
