2011-2012 finds Paul entering his tenth season as Sales Representative with the RBC Centre / Sarnia Sting Hockey Club. Maintaining and developing new opportunities for corporate partners, and providing a hands on approach to customer service has been his number one priority over the years, and continues today.
A native of South-End-On-Sea, England, Paul arrived in British Columbia in 1957 and became an instant hockey fan. During his thirty year career as a broadcaster Paul had the opportunity to coach and officiate minor hockey in Windsor, North Bay, Montreal, Calgary and Winnipeg. “It was Winnipeg, the mid 70’s, watching Bobby Hull, Anders Hedberg and Ulf Nilsson that I promised myself that if given the chance I would work in the hockey world”. The opportunity arose in 2002 when Paul, as a Sales Representative for Canon Canada was making a call to the then Sarnia Sports & Entertainment Centre.
Paul and his wife Ann (a native of Sarnia) live in Sarnia. Their two oldest daughters live and teach in London with the youngest living in Ottawa. All are Sting fans and can be seen at home games when in town for a visit. 67’s games in Ottawa have not been the same since Julia started showing up with her big yellow foam finger and Sting t-shirt behind the visitors bench when the Sting visit.

I am ecstatic to be the newest team player on the RBC Centre / Sarnia Sting Hockey Club roster. As a seasoned sales and marketing consultant who has had the pleasure of developing a strong business rapport with small and medium sized businesses, large corporations, advertising agencies and government ministries, I am keen on creating a spirited and vibrant season on and off the ice through community and business partnerships.
My passion for sports and the media began at a very young age and after studying Broadcast Journalism, I scored roles as a television producer, sports reporter and sports anchor with CTV which enabled me to build a solid and positive relationship with sports organizations including the OHL and the NHL.
For the past decade, I have focused my career efforts and energies on providing businesses just like yours effective advertising solutions that not only promote branding your product or service but increase your revenue dollars by recommending creative avenues in advertising and sponsorship which yield favourable results for you. I welcome the opportunity to shake your hand and introduce you to smart choice exposure.
In my spare time, I can be found auditioning for community theatrical productions, swimming in Erie or Huron, playing a set of doubles on the tennis court or working diligently on my long game on a local fairway.
Have yourself a winning day!
